Review on ๐Ÿš— U.S. RubberShox DuraTPE Series Automotive Front-Rear Coil Spring Buffer Cushion/ Suspension Shock Absorber Retainer Performance Booster Kit Universal Type A-F CSB Plus, A by Gabriel Salleh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The view is easy to install and makes a big difference.

I bought these bumpers for the front and rear coil springs on my 2018 Mazda CX-5. My wife and I are used to driving German cars and enjoyed the cornering handling. I love the looks of my CX-5, but I really can't appreciate its handling, especially on a mountain road. I saw these buffers at Revain and want to try them as they are not expensive at all. The installation is quite simple and easy. However, installation required lifting the vehicle. Before purchasing the buffer, I jacked up the car to measure the distance between the front and rear springs. Best of all, they have detailed measurement and installation instructions on their website. After raising the car, I simply slide the bumper from the bottom of the coil spring (greater edge-to-edge spacing) all the way up. I had a hard time inserting the buffer into the spring on my first try. I emailed the manufacturer and asked if the buffer sizes were wrong. The second day I got an email back and they offered to spray the bumpers and springs with WD-40 before installing them. It took me just 30 minutes to install all 4 bumpers on my SUV's front and rear coil springs. They should include this suggestion in their installation instructions. After driving my CX-5 for three weeks I am perfectly happy with these tiny cheap fenders. I was so happy with the two hill climbs I had, they made the corner so stable and smooth even with my wife and two teenagers in the car and they don't get as dizzy as they used to. These buffers also absorb bumps in the road very well. I love these shock absorbers! Retract Although these shocks are designed to be universal, they do not fit very closely to different types of coil springs. The back of my CX-5 isn't as cramped as the front. If you're going to buy these buffers, you need to make sure the measurements are correct and choose the one that's as close to your size as possible. One small thing, I wish my CX-5 was even stiffer. I like the firmer handling, even if it reduces comfort and absorbs bumps in the road.
