Peeling off the backing paper is the most difficult task as the sticker does not adhere very well to the front clear layer. So I place the sticker face down and SLOWLY peel the white paper horizontally parallel to the crease with the sticker or roll it back and press the sticker as I peel the sticker so it sticks to the front clear film. Don't worry about the numbers or dots staying in the exact position because you can move anything with the wet method. After removing the backing paper, I thoroughly wet the truck and decal. Turn the sticker over and slowly peel off the clear front in the same way as the back. It won't be easy and won't stick at first, but it's good for you to position the decal on the hood. Move the numbers, dots where they should be. Slowly and gently press the sticker to squeeze out the water, don't mess with it too much. If the water starts to dry up, you can keep squeezing out air and water. Hope that helps.
