I've been using it for about a month with no problems. Works well. Mount it to a homemade plywood base behind or under the sideboard (rather than attaching it directly to the wall or floor) so the TV isn't visible when it's folded down and not in use. Note that you cannot set a preset height with the remote control, only up and down control. (Though you can set 5 preset heights on the remote that's attached to the lift with a cord.) That would be my only criticism, albeit a small one. In general I would recommend. Protects the TV to prevent small children from tipping over and injuring themselves. And I don't have to stare at the big black screen in my living room when I'm not using it.
