NO starter kit! If you have someone with experience to show you how to start and read the pattern and how to determine what length of thread to use for the number of small characters in the pattern and whether you just make two green stitches running horizontally or you jump and make diagonal movements to use up all the thread you just inserted into the needle and to guide you if you have questions because you're going to do it. great - then this might work for you; But if you're a complete beginner and have only ever had hem pants before - this kit isn't for you (or me). I watched a lot of cross stitch videos on youtube to try to start it right, with the correct length as it is quite confusing when constrained statements are included. I put it aside and head to the HobbyLobby to get a proper starter kit. Ask someone to help you get started if you're new - I suspect it will save you all the frustration. I hope to come back to this after I learn the basics.
