Installation on the 2015 Outback is fairly easy with a few tips. After removing the floor panels from the cargo area, first remove the left front mounting tab as well. It is located just behind the left rear seat. Pull the plastic part in the center of the ring to open it, then remove the 10mm cap screw. Once you've done that, if you look up and to the left through this hole, you'll see the white connector. This is what you need to pull down to connect the connector. Removing the fastener makes it much easier to find and remove as there are two loops of blue tape holding this interconnect wire behind the fairing. After that, all you have to do is attach the ground screw and position the adapter box where you think it won't get in the way.
