Will not fit my 2017 Yamaha YZF R3

I bought a 51mm for a 2017 Yamaha YZF r3 but it does not fit. The hole is too big for the exhaust. I think you need to weld an extra piece of metal (extension) otherwise the exhaust will touch the rear frame and possibly scratch it. I have contacted the owner but no response. Is there an extension we can buy to solve my problem?
