This was a replacement case that looked identical. The stand on the old housing broke after about 3 years of daily use. The edge is slightly rubberized, which makes it more comfortable to grip than the old one. The durability and strength is yet to be seen which is why I only gave it 4/5 stars but it seems to be just as good as the last case we bought.
