This jacket is great! Super light, easy to pack and keeps our son warm. The jacket has been washed several times in the washing machine/dryer without any problems, so the workmanship of the jacket is also reliable. Sizing is as expected compared to our other Columbia kids jackets. Our winter weather is usually in the 30 degree range so I would say if your temp is 0-20 degrees you might need something warmer - it insulates body heat well but is very light so I doubt it will work very well becomes low temperatures. However, in cool to moderately cold weather, this is a great option.
