Direct fit, no modification required, works well
This was a direct fit for my 2005 Mazda RX-8 6MT. NOTHING had to be redone. It's about as thick a heatsink as you can fit before it starts pushing the fan cover down enough to get in the way of the battery and airbox compartments. It has enough cooling capacity that I didn't notice one of my radiator fans stalling. worked until I noticed it during another service.
