They are a little smaller than expected but I like them. I have a small kitchen and I'm glad they don't take up much space. I also like how good they feel in my hand. Choppers and stands are heavy. Not heavy because it's too heavy to hold, but you can tell it's a piece of metal, drilled outwards for heavy use. The grinder is easy to use with one hand. I wish the pepper came out a little harder because I love a lot of pepper and sometimes my hand gets tired before I'm full and then I use my other hand to help. To be honest I haven't found a manual coffee grinder that comes out fast enough for me yet. I made a video of the pepper exit. This may not be a problem for you. Salt comes out well and quickly. I've also included a photo of the kit in my hand and next to the liter jar so you can see the size.
