This was the easiest phone for my 94 year old mother. And we've tried many. Much-advertised cell phones for the elderly do not work properly when poor eyesight and hand-eye coordination deteriorate. My mom says she just has to click her face to make a call. While it was easy to set up and use, the best feature of this phone is the sound quality. My mother hears callers on this phone very well, even with her poor hearing. I bought her two of these phones for her small apartment but kept the other messaging phone. It would be nice if this phone had a basic answering machine, but I don't want to skimp on its current features and I don't want a complicated system. The simplicity of this phone is its biggest advantage.
