The part can certainly be better. The metal is too soft for this job. The top bolts for my application require 50 ft-lbs of torque. On older OEs you could easily tighten it. However, with these replacements, once you reach 20 ft-lbs of torque, the metal begins to flex to the point that when you apply every 50 ft-lbs of torque, you slam the top bracket into the leaf spring so hard that it doesn't even bother itself stirs. I ended up returning them and just replacing the bushing in the old OE bracket.
