Review on UGREEN Coupler Ethernet Extender Adapter Computer Accessories & Peripherals and Cables & Interconnects by Delbert Potter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

This connector solved at least two problems in my Cat7 Ethernet cabling. The 50ft cable was about 1.5ft shorter for convenience in connecting an extra loop. The connector voltage was confusing so I added a 3 foot Cat7 patch cord with this connector. Another situation is a Cat7 cable of sufficient length, but the connector was damaged when it was pulled through the wall. I added this connector by carefully gluing it to the cable and then added another 3 foot Cat7 jumper cable. In either case I don't see any degradation in signal quality and am now much more comfortable with the result, greatly reducing the chances of the connection dropping in the future. I'm sure I'll find other situations where the remaining Ugreen ties come in handy. Nice to have them in your inventory for future use.

Pros
  • No signal loss: With up to eight connectors on each side, properly aligned and secure, signals are transmitted without loss of signal integrity or delay. Along with nickel-plated contacts and an easy-to-snap locking clip, this RJ45 jack-to-jack adapter also offers a secure and corrosion-resistant connection.
Cons
  • Exorbitant price
