That sucks, big deal. Not for use with POE.

These suck. It is not known if these connectors are unidirectional in network data cables. There are no instructions on the packaging. I have only used this product for two patch cord extensions where I had to rotate the connector to ensure data signal continuity. I wouldn't recommend a POE cable either. I tried to use this product with a POE camera cable and the POE/DVR module failed. All other camera signals disappeared and the feed stopped. I had to unplug this adapter and rebuild the dash…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

RJ45 ends don't fit securely in ports - cables keep falling out

I bought 3 of these kits (30 total) to expand multiple sliding POE cameras. As long as the devices maintain a signal, the cables will continue to fall out of the connectors. The mechanism they designed to hold the clamp is faulty and doesn't work. The cables I use are subjected to no stress other than gravity and are laid horizontally in a false ceiling. And yet, when I lose connection, I keep finding that the cables have fallen out. Very disappointed with this product.

Sturdy parts that don't cause noticeable signal loss

I used them to attach Cat 5E cables to the walls in my house to connect the cables to the network switch. They replaced a failed Leviton network perforation module/panel. I ripped out the panel and put RJ45 connectors on the cables from each room, then used those connectors to connect them to the switch. Everything works great. I see no degradation in network speed compared to measuring directly from a 1GB modem. They're a bit heavy, so it's probably better to mount them to something rather…

Just what I needed

I use them for my home network. I built a shelf to hold all my devices (routers, etc.) on it, but the ethernet cables weren't long enough to reach it. I used these and some patch cords to route the cables to the shelf. They worked great as soon as I plugged them in and I haven't had a single problem since. They look and feel solidly built. I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

NICE INLINE ETHERNET CONNECTORS

My recording studio has a lot of ethernet cables running around distributing the sound from our two X32 mixers and some remote input units. These small built-in connectors come in handy when you need to add another slightly longer cable. I also installed them on my mixer so I could place one of our headphone mixers next to me and have a convenient place to plug it in. inside without a lot of wires anywhere. Love them and would order them again, they seem to be of better quality than some…

Does exactly what it's supposed to do

This connector solved at least two problems in my Cat7 Ethernet cabling. The 50ft cable was about 1.5ft shorter for convenience in connecting an extra loop. The connector voltage was confusing so I added a 3 foot Cat7 patch cord with this connector. Another situation is a Cat7 cable of sufficient length, but the connector was damaged when it was pulled through the wall. I added this connector by carefully gluing it to the cable and then added another 3 foot Cat7 jumper cable. In either case I…

Pros
  • No signal loss: With up to eight connectors on each side, properly aligned and secure, signals are transmitted without loss of signal integrity or delay. Along with nickel-plated contacts and an easy-to-snap locking clip, this RJ45 jack-to-jack adapter also offers a secure and corrosion-resistant connection.
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Better than any other RJ45 connector I've ever tried

Tried different clutches. In fact, the industry is strictly against clutches due to their notoriously unreliable nature. I've bought many others in the past and they either lose connection over time, randomly disconnect when ejected, or only connect at 100Mbps. What struck me right away is that these Ugreens are a bit are more expensive than the regular plugs I use. I bought but when other products don't work you get what you pay for. The second thing I noticed when I received them in the mail…

Pros
  • Easy Ethernet Cable Extension: The UGREEN ethernet extension cable is ideal for extending an ethernet connection by connecting two network connector cables together. This is how it reaches a computer or laptop, so you can easily connect any computer to the network port.
Cons
  • Not fashionable

No signal loss when unplugging the Ethernet cable

Even when the ethernet cable is firmly attached, many connectors allow the ethernet cable to move around a bit. I have purchased other connectors (iMBAPrice® RJ45 Connectors - (25 pcs) Cat5e Ethernet Straight Modular Jack to Female Cable Extension Cable) that had great reviews but lost connection when pulled. I tested this with a cable tester - pull the cable and the light corresponding to the pin goes out. Note that I didn't pull hard on the cable - just enough to push the connector all the…

Pros
  • 1 Gigabit Fast Speed: This Ethernet cable connector offers speeds of up to 1 Gbps for connecting a Cat7 or Cat6 Ethernet cable.
