If you replace the wicks they will ONLY fit wine bottles.
At the time of my purchase, the title and description indicate that they are intended for use with wine bottles; That's what I got them for and my review is about using them for that purpose. TL;DR: look elsewhere. As can be seen from the pictures the wicks were approximately 6 inches and 8 inches long which is not long enough to be used in a standard 750ml wine bottle; You will need 12-16 inch wicks for this purpose. Ceramic lids are also usually too small, but can be used almost without falling through and are unstable because the rim of a wine bottle is very narrow.
