These are quality boots at an affordable price. My daughter is a first year rider and her instructor said these are good boots for beginners if you don't want to spend a lot. You never know if they'll "hang on" at the age of 8-9, and kids are always growing, so getting decent riding boots at a reasonable price is always a plus. The downside is that every 3-5 months, each time the child's leg grows, new riding pots have to be "broken in”. This leads to blisters.
