Good boots. Best in Athletics

This is the second pair. I buy them a size up and put another pair of socks on the baby so we can get the most out of them. They resisted their bullying 3 days a week for two years. over the balls of her feet to help her hold the stirrups.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Not Sure

Great for teaching and foot placement!

My daughter has been taking riding lessons for a year now and she loves it and even wears it to school sometimes. Additional comment: Her trainer mentioned that the grip line near the ball of her foot helps her hold on. the foot was in the stirrup. I think I need to attach a photo. As you can see, there isn't enough traction to "lock" the foot in the stirrup.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Boots go best with a small in Athletic

My granddaughter has been wearing these for her riding lessons for a few weeks and they seem to be holding up great. However she is usually a size 11 (she is almost 5 years old) so I ordered a size up thinking she would have more room but they just fit her so run small. I would advise getting one size larger. The only reason I didn't give them five stars was because they are small.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No rifle

Good shoes. VERY SMALL :-(

Nice shoes. Great for riding! They were perfect boots. But they run VERY small. We bought our daughter a size 2 because we thought we would give her room to grow she can't wear them anymore (bought in july. now mid august) because they are just too small we have 3 weeks of classes left and the last time she wore them she had blisters on the back of hers got heels to put up with it and got another pair of shoes we measured her she measures 1-1.5 sizes she can still wear a size 13 in some shoesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Buy shoes one size larger than what your child wears for tennis shoes.

These are quality boots at an affordable price. My daughter is a first year rider and her instructor said these are good boots for beginners if you don't want to spend a lot. You never know if they'll "hang on" at the age of 8-9, and kids are always growing, so getting decent riding boots at a reasonable price is always a plus. The downside is that every 3-5 months, each time the child's leg grows, new riding pots have to be "broken inโ€. This leads to blisters. Also, new boots and a youngโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Clarity

Perfect. (See below for explanation of dimensions)

Boots fully meet our expectations. Riding boots with a deep fit for children. A little clarification on sizing, as there seems to be a lot of questions about sizing, and because baby sizing is sometimes hard to decipher (US only): In the US, newborns are usually size 0/1 and sizes go larger up to 13. Then Sizes start at 1 and go up to around 10/11 for women and 12/13 for men (but can be larger as some men and women may need even larger sizes. These boots come in sizes from size 8 up for smallโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Long delivery time

1st pair in good condition 2nd pair in poor condition

This is our second pair for our little rider. The first was pretty good, lasted a year through pretty hard work in the barn and was polished well for four gigs. The toe box isn't very reinforced, but the rest of the boot has held up well. This second pair had just spent half a week at an equestrian day camp. When they arrived we noticed some creases on the right side of both boots. Looks like the stitching/leather loosened a bit when the cobbler made them. We didn't have time to return them asโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled
