Overall I am very happy with this purchase but two things to note: 1) Upon opening this product had a strong plastic smell. Soak thoroughly before placing in the aquarium. The tube is very porous so do not use chemical cleaners or bleach as I can almost guarantee they will stay in. The smell was gone after 24 hours and I put it in the pool with no problem. 2) Yes, the bubbles won't come out in some places, FIRST. Depending on how you bend and position this thing, it will determine if all of your bubbles will appear closer to the air pump or if they will go evenly to the end.
