🪟 Bendable Bubble Wall Air Diffuser by Penn Plax Review

It arrived and I installed it in my tank but it's not as heavy as I expected and I had to work hard to stay on the bottom of the tank. The other end of the bubbler is open. It comes with a plastic plug, but there's no other way to install it other than cut off the other end and then glue it on. Not sure as it came with zero instructions. Overall I am very happy with this purchase but two things to note: 1) Upon opening this product had a strong plastic smell. Soak thoroughly before placing in the aquarium. The tube is very porous so do not use chemical cleaners or bleach as I can almost guarantee they will stay in. I put this in my tank this morning and a couple of little bubbles on each end played around with it for a while thought I'd give it a while but still nada. I have a NEW Tetra 150 pump (can handle 10 separate air lines) so I knew it wasn't my pump. READ THIS: For some reason the male connector (where you connect the air supply from the air pump) is NOT exposed and needs to be drilled before it will even work. Easy task for someone with a drill and a 1/8" bit, but if you don't have these items, good luck. I used to have a long bubble wand in my 29 gallon tank that annoyed me because it kept swimming to the top of the tank and making me dip my whole hand in to get it there bring it where i wanted it.
