Once you play these cards, you will never go back to paper cards. They are incredibly strong and easy to mix. I will say they are pretty smooth and a little stiff when you first open the deck. It takes a few hours of playing and shuffling to break them properly. I have found some that have become slightly wrinkled after many hours of play. I think it was because of the way one of my players handled the cards, not because there was something wrong with the cards. Since they are plastic I tried ironing the card between two pieces of cotton and was able to minimize or eliminate the creases.
