Make sure your soundbar is up to date!
Polk documentation is narrow and not very informative for these products and their phone support didn't help at all (twice). Their website was pretty cryptic, but I was able to figure out (from user feedback online) that I needed to update the firmware to the latest version. I finally found out how to do it (you connect your soundbar to the internet via Wi-Fi or even easier, an Ethernet cable). The soundbar updates automatically at night when not in use. This is how I finally got my Polk SR1s working. And now I like her.
