A great kit with almost everything you need to brew beer. I personally made my first batch of cider using this set (it's still aged in the bottle, but the taste of the sample is promising). Of course not enough: bottles, corks, beer ingredients. My kit broke very quickly. It would also be wise to hire a beer thief or otherwise get beer out of a bottle/bucket to measure gravity. Last but not least, you need something to sterilize. I use Starsan, which I mix with water in a spray bottle. Bleach will work, but Starsan can be sprayed on anything and just left to dry (it's that simple!). The supplied hydrometer works and is easy to use. Haven't used a bottling bucket yet, but everything else works great (the automatic siphon is easy to use).
