🍺 Brewer's Best Deluxe 1002 Beer Home Equipment Kit with Glass Carboy – Complete Brewing Package Review

Bought for my boyfriend for Christmas. The instructions were easy to follow. We just opened our first bottle tonight and it's amazing! Not too sweet, great coffee taste.

Great Company for Business! I bought a brew set and one of them broke on delivery. I called, spoke to the sales rep, told him about my problem, he didn't hesitate to ask where to send a replacement. A few days later I received the goods and was back in action. Thanks Brewer's Best!

Made beer last week. The set is complete except for bottles, caps and beer ingredients. Have to rate it 1/2 stars. In order to use the areometer properly, you need a 100 ml measuring cylinder. It wasn't included, so I couldn't take initial readings while making beer. The rest of the kit comes with quality hardware and good instructions.

All the parts in the kit were in stock. The siphon was broken and unusable and the detergent bag was torn and leaking (its powder). I was disappointed that the original box wasn't boxed, it was used as a shipping box (we use the box as part of the beer making process) and was a wreck. Aside from the broken/unusable items, the kit is great and everything works fine.

I was very happy to open the box. I was expecting that maybe a part would break, but I was wrong. The thermometer broke and he pointed to the lid of the fermenter. Then the Econo lock broke on the way. And finally the areometer was broken. I had to go to the local dealer to get replacement parts. I will NEVER buy this again! Not worth the price for the number of items that actually work.

Delivery was fast. There were several issues with damaged parts. My bottle cap was missing half of the handle on one side as it broke during shipping. My airlock and siphon tube were cracked and broken. I called support, they were very helpful. All in all, this is a great set and works great. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get into homebrewing. Of course, you'll need to buy a lot of other accessories, but that's basically the basics.

A great kit with almost everything you need to brew beer. I personally made my first batch of cider using this set (it's still aged in the bottle, but the taste of the sample is promising). Of course not enough: bottles, corks, beer ingredients. My kit broke very quickly. It would also be wise to hire a beer thief or otherwise get beer out of a bottle/bucket to measure gravity. This set has a lot of parts so looks like it's worth the money. However, I found that I still had to purchase many additional items, either because the parts arrived broken or everything I needed wasn't included. For example, the hydrometer doesn't have a test tube and I don't really trust the cleaner that comes with it.
