I wanted to start upgrading my old 5 year old computer but my computer didn't have enough RAM so I decided to buy 2 Corsair 8GB sticks first. It came and I used it for about a month before deciding to write a review. It still works and I can definitely see an improvement in my computer and game speed. The bad news is that I can only use one of the two brackets for my motherboard as it only has one channel, not two channels. It's my own fault for not noticing this sooner, but I still have an extra flash drive that I can use if I decide to upgrade my computer, especially the processor and motherboard, then I can Take full advantage of 16GB of RAM. No BSOD or anything so far both sticks worked when I tested them. Keep in mind that the sticks are quite large and can take up a lot of space if you have a small computer case like mine. I wish rams were a bit cheaper because 8GB is becoming the standard for gaming and the price I paid is that of a decent motherboard but oh well hopefully rams will come down in price encouraging more people to to buy them. a little more RAM, it really makes a difference. Overall I am satisfied with the product and it does what it is supposed to do.
