The six bearing cage was on the left side, but my local bike shop didn't have cage bearings, so they gave me a few ounces of the same size floating bearings and I bought Park Tool PolyLube 1000 bike grease off the left cage bearings, giving me room for 11 bearings each side gave. No smelly cages required! But how can I hold 22 individual bearings on the bearing inner race while pushing the outer race out? you look at it Complete the races. Put a healthy layer of bike grease on top and the grease will hold the bearings in place while you clamp the outer races with the bearing-loaded inner races.
