The light is excellent and definitely waterproof. Swapped headlights on my trailer. The problem is that the wiring harness that comes with the kit is complete nonsense. They look good and worked well initially, but after only a few months they rotted and broke. My headlights went on and off and I noticed that one of my wires had come loose. When I tried to strip it with wire strippers it just broke the copper inside. I even put my wire stripper on the lowest setting and it was able to hold some of the copper wires, but only about half. I grabbed my pocket knife to do it the old fashioned way and it still managed to snap a few pieces. I can pull the wires (not hard) and break the rubber sheeting and wires. I already replaced the wire with a stronger one, but I decided to check how bad it was. The only hard piece I could find was about 2 feet from the 4 pin connector that plugs into your car. If you buy these headlights I strongly recommend that you buy a better wire or use an old wire harness.
