I've been using training collars on my dogs for years so I'm familiar with how they work but this one is just confusing. I don't often use electric shocks on my dog, just the vibrate and beep functions, but this makes it very easy to accidentally shock him. As a general rule, the fewer buttons the better, so it's really clear which button does what, but with this button, the buttons are multitasking, so you'll need to make sure the setting is correct before you hit the button - which actually the case is not the case. Work when your dog is doing something bad and you need to get his attention quickly. I will try again but after trying to use it one afternoon I put it in the drawer where it has been ever since.
