Sleek Modern Corner Shelf
I have used both this type and the curved "standard" corner shelf. This one is better, offering more surface area and a sleeker, more modern look. Since this part is thinner, its installation requires a little more attention; If you're only using a thin set, some type of support other than tape will be needed to secure it while it dries. I would recommend a quick setting construction adhesive.
