When you pick it up it feels a bit heavy. However, I used to have a thin version and it couldn't hold its shape enough to support my dog. She's only a 6 lb pup so I wasn't asking much. It's very comfortable here and I love that it has a zip at the top so I can hide it if needed, but it's still breathable. It is comfortable for both the dog and the owner. It doesn't scream like a doggy bag, so you can wear it relatively unobtrusively. It suits my needs perfectly and several friends have bought them after trying mine. It's a bit more expensive than the others but I bought the cheap one and then bought this one when it fell apart.
