I get cases for all my expensive mobile devices. As for my switch, I wanted it to be protected at all times so I didn't have to put it in a suitcase and take it out again when I wanted to go out and take it with me (or put it back). Pros: - Slim body - Looks great - Stands free - Joycon pins attach easily and feel great. Cons: - NOT RELIABLE - Switch doesn't go into TV mode when docked - there are a lot of exposed parts on Switch - feels like it will snap and basically be pointless if dropped - joycon grips are incredibly difficult to remove. When I clicked on the case, some parts didn't click properly. Feeling it in my hand I'm pretty sure if I drop it it will snap and the switch will fly out and get damaged. So I found a better alternative. If you want to protect your Switch and put it in TV mode and use it as a mobile device without taking it out of the case, do the following: - Buy the case you need (don't even worry via the dock ). ) - Buy a USB-C extender (around $5) - Optionally buy a stand with these three things, which allows you to bypass the limited case choices and still easily play your Switch on your TV.
