The Dry Cleaning Secret has saved me a small fortune!

I work in a Manhattan office and dry clean almost every day. My bills would be huge without this stuff! That's cool. Serious. I mean, how often do people get excited about laundry detergent? They don't have packages or expensive starter kits like Dryel. You end up with a bunch of sheets soaked in cleaner, like thick wet dryer sheets. You blot up any small stains and then toss 4-5 similarly colored clothes in the dryer along with a cleaning sheet for half an hour. Hang your clothes for the night. (or for a few minutes if you're like me and do it in the morning!) and they look smooth and rejuvenated and smell fresh. . Now I take my clothes to a real dry cleaner every three or four tries. My job requires a neat and professional appearance and this thing does the trick! In addition to the obvious savings, less time is spent on dry cleaning trips. I buy clothes without fear of the time and expense of dry cleaning. And if I want to wear my favorite skirt on a whim, I can do that. I don't have to wait until I have time to take it to the cleaning. Obviously use common sense. Heavily soiled or sweaty clothing will not work. And if you have a very expensive suit, take it to an expensive dry cleaner. But if your inexpensive dry-cleaned clothes are often wrinkled but mostly clean, buy them and save. It has never ruined or even damaged an item of clothing, and from what I've heard I might substitute a random outfit if that happened.

Pros
  • Effective on oily stains such as mayonnaise, salad dressing and cosmetics
Cons
  • Very expensive
