Review on Bell Revolution Adult Helmet Black by Steve Jones

Bought this bike helmet for my daughter because I read that Bell helmets are wider in the middle than Giro helmets. Of course it was 3/8 inch wider and that made all the difference. Also, the back of the helmet was thicker and better than the older Giro model. But then, when my daughter tried to take it off after an hour of cycling, her hair got tangled in the hooks that connect Bell's weird plastic insert to the helmet's inner foam, and the main foam pads sit on top of the insert (and, on with the weird design, the outer layer is also only attached to the plastic and not glued to the main body of the helmet like all other helmets). I know Bell is good company. , but this helmet is not functional, at least for a person with long hair.
