Review on 🐕 Safety Technology International, Inc. ED-50 Rex Plus Electronic Watchdog: Powerful Barking Dog Alarm for Enhanced Security by Robert Dabney

I had high hopes for this item and really needed something like this after my neighbor was recently robbed. Unfortunately, the product doesn't even come close to living up to expectations. I've tried multiple locations around the house and garage with different settings and ranges/volumes. Tried different heights and directions. The alarm could not be activated through glass or walls and doors made of any material. Even in the same room it wouldn't work unless you were within 5ft of the box, and it wasn't even permanent. Sometimes it didn't work even if I stood half a meter away from it. I tried repositioning the box to see if it worked better from the front, back, top, or bottom as previous reviewers had noticed a difference in sensitivity, but nothing seemed to help. It can be quite loud so you can hear it through the door and it can fool someone if it can be launched that way. It doesn't sound realistic if you're in the same room as the box, so the product is completely useless to me.
