GREAT quality, looks and functionality. I climbed onto our front door to let the breeze in however I wanted without the wind slamming the door shut. Our new wooden floor pad leaves no gap for the door wedge, so it's perfect, if not better. The middle hinge of our door springs moderately so that the door closes automatically. The magnet on this product is likely to be medium strong. So if you have a STRONG door reset mechanism, it may not hold the door open. -Make sure- during assembly that the stem fits perfectly into the mount for maximum holding power. I needed two tries. I ended up attaching the receiver glass to the stem already installed and pressing it against the door and then marking it, drilling the holes, screwing it in and successful. Love it. All those years of bending over to block the door with something heavy are over. Now I just open the door until I hear a faint click and it stays open until I decide to close it with a finger. board in Portland
