Even better if you have three hands

Before I get into the details it's worth saying that this is a really good product and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I plan to buy at least two more. I bought this to install a cable modem and thought it would take less than 5 minutes but it didn't. The first problem was that the screws are for drywall so I took a second bit to drill a pilot hole. That solved the problem with the screw. Then it's time to install the cable modem, and this is the part where three hands come in handy. Holding the cable modem with one hand and adjusting the two straps with the other turned out to be a real juggling act. Yes, I dropped my cable modem at least three times, but in the end I managed to buckle it up. Of course one should not criticize without offering a solution, so here are my recommendations. Your own screws with dowels. 2a - Have someone hold the gear while you attach it. OR 2b - Use double-sided tape to secure the gear to the baseplate if installing alone. Although I don't like it. Product, in fact it is 100% functional so its quirks are worth putting up with. As I said in the beginning, I plan to buy at least two more to install my networking equipment. Thank you for your attention!
