Review on π§ Delphi FP10049 Fuel Pressure Regulator: Enhanced Fuel Efficiency and Performance by Chad Young
I installed this on my 5.4 liter Ford Triton v8
. Installation was simple and easy, removed the kennel on the van to get to the rear of the motor, removed 2 bolts and the vacuum line, it was off. My only issue with this fuel pressure regulator is that it has o-rings. didn't match the one I took off and wouldn't allow it to fit flush to the truck. A simple solution. I just removed the o-rings from the factory motor controller and swapped them out for this Delphi controller. I've had it on my truck for about 6 months now and no problems yet.
