Slightly disappointing

First of all, the scent is amazing! However, the first time I used it I used the amount indicated on the product label and it left no odor, I was very disappointed. The second time I used twice as much and it left a very pleasant smell on my clothes. but ended up having to use almost the entire bottle in one load. At this rate I would spend a fortune using this fabric softener every time I wash my clothes. that's very disappointing :(
