The locking mechanism on this drawer is poorly constructed and breaks easily. Simply turning the large knob on the front without entering a combination will trigger one or both of the two actions. Either the shaft of the handle gets damaged or the thin plastic cam that rotates with the handle deviates from the very small solenoid blocking the cam and the case opens. It takes very little effort to do this intentionally or accidentally. Once the Knowledge Well is damaged, the box is useless. I suspect higher capacity boxes have the same locking mechanism. This was obviously designed by someone with little experience in mechanical design.
