Inexpensive and works great
The original was so bad the hood was harder to lift and it just slammed shut. I pulled the clips out of the old one and put the new one in. (Corner piece connected to the hood of my 2012 Dodge Durango). Works amazing. I hardly bother opening the hood now, and I don't have to worry about banging my head on the hood or working around the engine with a hand.
