The threads are not the same

I bought 2 of these and the threads on one were so messed up that I returned it and bought a new one. Both of them actually broke the thread, but I managed to twist it halfway on one. The other was useless. I then received a replacement and the replacement was also messed up and rendered unusable. Not only was it useless, but it messed up the threads on the part I was going to bolt it to, so not only did I have the money for that, I had the money for the part I bought to bolt it to. I have a plumbing problem right now.
