Expensive. But they work and don't leak.

They are expensive. But you get what you pay for. They just work! Areas are particularly difficult to reach. easy to assemble.

Good product: Rough plumbing work

Saves time. Hard work made easier. I have used many Sharkbite fittings and have never had a problem. The most important thing is to completely deburr the tube inside and out.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Was damaged

Excellent solution for PEX piping to water heater

Several reviews say the threads are mismatched or leaking. Not true. The thread is NPT and flawless. It worked great for me with just two turns of teflon tape. A very simple and inexpensive solution to connecting a water heater to a pex piping system.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Some bugs

Damaged but working

The product was received damaged, I doubt it was damaged in transit as the packaging it came in was already open and the finish was damaged as if it were a tool used to it, so I think it was a comeback. I was in a bind so I used it anyway and not a drop spills, such a great product, the dispenser maybe not so good.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Not sure

quick and easy Best in Pipe Fittings

I love this style of water pipe fittings especially when working with old copper pipe. Don't worry about water and steam contaminating solder joints. Simply scrape the end of the copper wire to remove burrs and press down on the inner stop. I've never had a schnapps until now and have been using it for about six or seven years. Highly recommended, especially for used copper pipes. Fast and easy.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No performance

One of Two Leak is good for rough plumbing

Not what I would call a reliable part. Leakage at both threaded and sliding ends. Brand new CPVC, clean cut, threaded tape on threaded end. Considering their cost compared to simple hardwiring, I expect more. If you decide to use them, make sure you buy enough to replace the leaking parts, or you'll end up halfway through the project and head to your local store for a replacement. This is not a good situation when dealing with a water heater.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost never

The threads are not the same

I bought 2 of these and the threads on one were so messed up that I returned it and bought a new one. Both of them actually broke the thread, but I managed to twist it halfway on one. The other was useless. I then received a replacement and the replacement was also messed up and rendered unusable. Not only was it useless, but it messed up the threads on the part I was going to bolt it to, so not only did I have the money for that, I had the money for the part I bought to bolt it to. I have a…

  • A sea of positive emotions

  • Not the best
