When we were trying to replace our old dream car we bought it thinking a CD player and fancy features would come in handy. We were disappointed that it is difficult to use and has too many features. 1) It takes 10 clicks to set the alarm time (excluding the +/- time) and tune the radio by pressing the buttons on the front (so you have to hold the back to keep it from sliding on the table) 2 ) the CD player did not play CDR as advertised. 3) Too many buttons, button layout seems random. Most controls require cycling to set multiple possibilities. For example, to turn on the buzzer, you had to press the "Set" button three times, first the CD, then the radio, then the buzzer. To turn it off again so it wouldn't turn on the next morning (!) you had to press about 6 more times. 4) The display of the clock is difficult to see at an angle (especially from above/below). Sound is good for the size of the device, radio reception is good. Overall I agree with the previous review, all-rounder but not particularly good at anything. You'd better get a CD player for CDs and a simple alarm clock. I could buy a plain "regular" clock radio for the price of sending it back.
