Review on ClosetMaid 6107 Decorative 3-Cube Storage Organizer, Dark Chestnut by Diana Kemmler

Complaints from other reviewers regarding the sturdiness of these units seemed completely unfounded after I assembled one. One positive review said to ignore the complainers and buy this. I did. I'm a long time Ikea Kallax user but I recently moved far enough away from a local Ikea that the shipping would have been over $200 to get a four cubicle unit. Shipping on this ClosetMaid was free. Complaints about the cardboard back of this unit are also off the mark as even this cardboard (more like heavy construction paper) adds to the stability of the unit. I'm using this piece laid horizontally so I can't say how sturdy the shelves would be in an upright configuration, but I'd go with other reviewers recommendation to use a little wood glue on the dowels.One demerit for the back of the unit not being finished. This would have been okay if the carboard piece covered the back completely but it does not.
