This is a quality made of metal components including the clip. It attaches easily to anything, for my use I attached it to the arm of my coffee table to replace the extension that was lying on the floor and it was a mess and clumsy, always causing problems with my room and breaking wires when the room ate them . This raises the cables in my case, the only cable that goes to the floor is the plug from that bar to the wall. The rest of the plugs go to the devices or chargers that are on the table. So I can tie the cords and put them in this strip. Cleans my floor, my room and my cables. I will be getting at least two more of these to install in other key points where I can raise the cables off the ground. I'm pretty obsessed with organizing my ridiculously high tech home, cables and splitters everywhere. So reducing clutter where I can is an easy win for me. This strip meets specific needs for my home.
