The best thing about this extender is that it attaches very firmly with the included clamp. Its coloring creates a technical office atmosphere compared to plain vanilla stripes. It charges my Android phone pretty quickly thanks to the included USB ports. The only downside that prevents me from giving it 5 stars is the inability to rotate the strip at will as the base is fixed and cannot be removed. With my picture, it would be nice if the USB ports were closer to me.

This is a quality made of metal components including the clip. It attaches easily to anything, for my use I attached it to the arm of my coffee table to replace the extension that was lying on the floor and it was a mess and clumsy, always causing problems with my room and breaking wires when the room ate them . I REALLY needed this for my modeling table/YouTube. The mount is rather odd, but fairly basic and very durable. It brings much-needed power to the top of my desk for things like airbrush compressors and my lights for YouTube videos. I really like it and I'm lucky that I don't have to crawl around to plug in extension cords and then trip over them. Good product.

Sophisticated design, good workmanship. The tolerances for the tabs that make up the mounting clip are very tight - so tight that when I first tried to assemble it I thought there was a problem. If you look at the photos you will see that half of the clip actually goes into the part that attaches to the extension and in order for them to fit together you have to slide them together. I really wanted one but for some reason my table lamps flickered when I plugged them in. Maybe I just have a bad device, but I feel insecure when I see this. Overall the construction design is solid and the clamp works pretty well so I think it could be a good power source if it works properly.

I am very satisfied with my order of the USB Desk Clamp Extender. This solves 3 problems for me. I no longer have to reach under my desk as often to access an outlet. I don't have to keep track of USB adapters and have desktop access for very short cables. Now I can use all my short cables which saves me having to order more to get more range. Very good size for the connectors offered, clip works great and the extension stays securely in place with no fear of slipping. The strip slipped securely into the base for a table clip, although without the base and clip it could still be used with tape or Velcro. Appearance is pleasant, qualitatively made, without defects. There is nothing special about this extension other than the attachment system, so I gave it five stars. The power strip has both AC power plugs and two USB charging ports and is ideal for use on a workbench. My only complaint is that it is limited to 12A and I have a lathe that has a peak current of 15A during start up. But this power strip handled it with no problem, so 12A is a continuous limit, not a short-term maximum. The USB ports are rated at 2.1 amps, which is more than enough for most
