This is my third aFe -Air intake that I installed (on my cars; 6th overall). Keep coming back and recommending them! First, their packaging is excellent. All items are included and detailed photos are accompanied with instructions. It seems simple, but after many trips into the AutoZone because other intake systems don't have all the required parts (or wrong sizes), it becomes more important. Fit and finish are first class. I have installed over 20 air intakes on various vehicle makes and models and the aFe air intakes are by far the most consistent in terms of ease of installation and installation. To me, this is also a great looking trick that influenced my decision. I really like how this system retains the OEM lower airbox; There are many 5.7L options, so it all comes down to personal preference. I also ordered an aFe case and will update with photos after installation. Now sound pure bliss! Not overly aggressive or loud, but definitely gave the engine a nice growl at low revs from 3000 rpm all the way to the redline (still breaking in, so it didn't hit). Can't wait to hear it with my 14" Magnaflow! Throttle response is also increased and the engine shifts through gears more easily; breathes much better. A similar setup on my Jeep WK2 SRT and I really liked it. The top is an inverted cone and very easy to clean!I will update my results after a few thousand miles.
