Update from 02/01/19 - The seller contacted me and sent me a new device free of charge. Again, although the input/output performance differs from the other two models, it seems to work well. I'm wondering how many models of this device they have as I keep getting others? In the end I am very happy with the result. Old review: I ordered 1 of these chargers to try on July 16th as the USB port in my Samsung S7 was damaged and I was having trouble charging my phone. Everything seemed to be working fine, so on July 19th I ordered 2 more devices – one for my office and one for my wife. With the first order the packaging was brown, with the second it was white. OK, new model or different stock? however. The white box model wasn't compatible with my husband's Samsung S6 for some reason, but the brown box model worked perfectly. Had to check input voltage/amp readings and it was two different outputs between white/brown boxed models! I had less than $15 for each unit so I just traded with my spouse and moved on. Now in December one of the white box blocks stopped responding. The indicators will flash blue/green repeatedly and will not charge. You get what you pay for I guess.
