The lid pops open when using carbonated or other carbonated beverages.

I bought these as a gift and a few for myself. I think pressure built up in the soda bottle and the lid came off in the fridge. Of course, I didn't realize it until the soda ran out a day or two later. I tried again with sparkling wine and the same thing happened. I'm not entirely sure if this is an effective product or not as I haven't had much luck with it.
