This is a great little speaker. I use it for radio amateurs in the car. The only downside is that the built-in cable is a bit short; It would have been nice to have had it a few feet longer for better placement and cable management options. In a smaller vehicle, this is probably enough for most people. If you have a mid to large sized sedan, SUV or truck, check if the cable is long enough. I have a speaker mounted on the driver's side shoulder that connects to the radio under the passenger seat. The cable is routed through the plastic seat belt/panel, exits at the floor and runs under the driver's seat to the passenger seat. Because of the length, it doesn't fit all the way along the floor panel where it runs behind the driver's seat. I'm also very impressed with the sound quality, especially for the money. It's not great for listening to music, but great for tuning etc. At this price I can recommend this product and will probably buy a second one in the future.
