I used this to remove the crank arm on an exercise bike. This is one of those tools that you won't use often, but when you need it, it works well. My only caveat is that I assumed the socket for attaching the lever to rotate was square so you could use a breaker or ratchet. It is not. It's a hex, so you'll need a hex wrench. However, you can use a wrench on the lower external hexagon. This is only practical if the crank is not too tight. But you won't know until you try to take it off.
